There are three phases of goal attainment ► Preparation, Planning and Execution.
Before you can set your goal or even think of executing it, you need to prep for it. Preparation means that you need to gather all the materials and resources (time, resources, support people such as accountability partners, mentors, professionals, skills needed etc.) that you will require for you goal beforehand.
SMART is an acronym for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-based. Let’s look at each of this word individually within the context of a goal.
💠 Specific ► How can you make your goal super clear and super specific?
💠 Measurable ►How will you measure your progress to determine if you are on track of successfully moving towards your desired destination or not?
💠 Attainable/Achievable ►Is your goal achievable for you or not in the current circumstances or do you need to gather resources and develop skills before you can even think of achieving your goal?
💠 Realistic ►Is your goal realistically relevant to you?
💠Time-based ►What is the due date of your goal?
