Greetings of Peace Ladies!
This is the seventh video in the Video Series of excerpt readings from my book “37 Lessons on How to Gain from Loss: A Believer’s Journey from Trial to Triumph” which is a personal transformation journey of a daughter/caretaker who lost her mother to cancer and how she took her trial as the turning point of her life to transform it into triumph.
In her book, the author sets an example for others like her to model and follow the process of how to transform their mindsets of lack into abundance and loss into gain(s). If you are one of them, join her #trialtotriumph movement.
▲ HOW YOU FEEL AS A CAREGIVER OF A CANCER PARENT▲
Today, we will talk about what is normal to feel as a caregiver of a cancer patient within your own family. I will share some intimate and personal moments of my journey as a caretaker and daughter of a mother combating breast cancer.
As human beings, turbulent times throw us out of place. We no longer remain aligned with who we truly are. With our ground shaken, we all experience the sudden rush of every kind of fear-based emotions in ourselves pop to the surface. Such emotions are not helpful but at the same time, it is not helpful to bash ourselves for having them. Being kind and compassionate to yourself because care-giving is not an easy feat to accomplish.
